Thanks to birth centers, experiencing a joyful pregnancy and birth experience does not mean you have to sacrifice safety nor comfort. Our birth center is designed to meet national accreditation standards meanwhile providing a “feels-like-home” environment.

At The Natural BirthHouse, we are well equipped for the possibility of our midwives needing to provide medications and/or initiate emergency procedures. Rest assured though, that most birth-related complications can actually be handled safely within the facility without requiring a transfer to the hospital.

We are aware that many new parents worry about the possibility of a transport to the hospital and are pleased to announce our NEW LOCATION in less than 2 minutes away from Lafayette General Medical Center for those very rare instances that would become necessary.
