The Natural BirthHouse has so much more to offer than just a comfortable home-like environment to birth your baby in! Imagine arriving for your prenatal appointments, being greeted almost immediately by the smile of your midwife. During your appointments, you can sit back and have a cup of tea while spending 45 minutes of one-on-one time focused only on you and your growing baby. Our prenatal environment encourages the entire family to participate in a much-like-your-family-room style space and special toys dedicated for your little ones.

When you’re in labor, we are as excited as you are to meet your baby. Your midwife will happily meet you at the birth center at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will love the peaceful spaces each of our three specially designed birth suites offer. Imagine yourself laboring in a calm, quiet room of your choosing, filled with the scent of lavender and familiar, smiling faces. Our suites each have a full-sized bed large enough for Dad to climb into with you, along with beautiful, inviting birth tubs or alternatively a generous walk-in shower with heated flooring. As you labor, you will be encouraged to nourish yourself completely needle-free with nutritious foods and drinks of your choice throughout the process. And finally, whenever you are ready, you decide the positions you want to bring your baby earth side in and change into new ones as you see fit. Mother-led pushing that is uncoached and unrushed often provides for a shorter pushing phase and a more peaceful experience. You can do it!

Believe it or not, it still doesn’t stop there! After you return home with your new baby, you can
expect frequent phone calls from your midwives, as well as visits for you and your baby in the comfort of your HOME. Your midwife will provide ongoing breastfeeding support or can make referrals as needed for you to be successful with your breastfeeding goals.
